Inputting name into a two piece monogram

So when i input the name into a two piece monogram how do I connect the upper and lower section together to get the stencil font to cut out correctly? I know I need to connect the upper and lower sketches to the fonts but I cannot get them to scale right to connect to the lines in the upper and lower sketches.

The Forum is sort of in the dark without your model, screen captures or sketches that show what you are trying to do.  The best thing is to attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

You have a much bigger problem, with this text, than to scale it to fit between the lines.  The video will mention this at the first.  You could use my method on each letter but that will be a chore that I will leave up to you.  Model is attached.

I would just move the lower section up to the text after aligning the top of the text to the upper section:
