In-canvas vs cloud/local render differences

In-canvas and Local/Cloud rendering outputs different images from same named view. I have modeled a ship in water, and in-canvas shows the correct water level with the propeller blade tip pointing out from water. Both local and cloud rendering outputs image with water level about 500mm higher

Water is just one component with one body at root level. Component has been moved around a bit in Z direction, but it has never been at the Z-level the local render shows.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you please upload your file? I'd like to take a look at it; I haven't seen this kind of behavior in render before with components

Hi Kate

I did some research and noticed the following:

Water is a separate component and linked to ship model. When inserting the water to ship model and moving it around at the same time ( in X-direction) the rendering differences occur. If I just insert and click ok, and then do a separate move command the component renders ok

The blade tip showing above the water level disappeared in local/cloud rendering but showed in-canvas. There are some joints related to blade that fail, I tried suppressing them but that didn't help. I had to delete the joints to get the local rendering work similar to in-canvas

Send me email if you need link to the model
