Importing SolidWorks designs to Fusion 360

Hello,

I am a very new user. Trying to migrate to Fusion 360 from Solidworks.

After uploading a Solidworks Model to my project, I am unable to open it properly.

If I double-click it or open it in any other way I cannot work on it. Once I click the work area the design disappears.

After viewing a bunch of tutorials, I still cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

I attached a screen cast.

Thanks, in advance,

Eric.

What version of SolidWorks?  2016? 2017?

Can you attach example file(s) here?

I tried several files from several SolidWorks versions that I downloaded from GrabCad.

I does not seems to be an issue of the version.

Hello,

I have uploaded a new screencast explaining the issue.

I included Audio explanation.

Also attached SolidWorks models that were used.

Thanks,

Arik.

Did you upload your part files and assembly files to a folder in your data panel before attempting to open in Fusion?

There is extra "rubbish" in the folder that you don't need.

I will try to remember to create a video tomorrow.

Sorry but I don't understand the answer: I tried again after deleting everything else except the solidworks files from the directories. I see exactly the same problem! Is it possible to have this solved?
