Some splines don't work in Fusion, can you attach a DXF you're having trouble with. Does your problem look anything like the problems in this thread How-to-create-a-face-on-a-imported-dxf

Although your curves look different to the other thread I think they have the same "G1 discontinuous" type of splines that Fusion can't work with. I don't know if @Maowen_Zhang could take a look at your file..

@Anonymous, @HughesTooling, thanks for sharing the issue with us!

We checked that I could snap geometry to the imported splines, and the sketch profiles also shows up. Is this what you see? If not, could you provide some more info about it?

importedDXFWithSplines.png

If you do can't see the profile, could you try delete the special spline as below to check whether profiles show up?

The problem is you can't edit the splines. If you edit the sketch and click on one of the splines you don't get any handles to make modifications. Also the points on the spline don't do anything, if you find the end point, point you can move the spline but moving the other points on the spline has no effect.

I've tried on Win7 and 8 and all's OK. Is there a newer driver available for you graphics card, I've seen a few posts similar to this and it was down to that.

that dxf was an export from fusion and that mess is not what I am working with here is the archive file . the video drivers are up to date and I know win 10 is not stable with cad programs . I have seen my share of bugs with it but that is what I am running for a workstation .

I opened your file and it doesn't work for me either. Is this a version of the DXF you've edited in Fusion, if it is at what point did it stop shading?

Can you attache the Rhino file please, you might need to put it in a zip file to attach it to this forum. I'd like to experiment with the splines in Rhino to see if I can figure out if the a way to get them to export in a type that Fusion will work with.

Thanks Mark.

Do you have the Rhino 3dm file, reimporting the DXF might add more problems.

I do not have problems with files from rhino when curves are made within that program .

I imported the file into Rhino, exploded the curves then exported as DXF and now it works, it looks like Fusion doesn't like joined NURBS curves. Fusion file attached.
