I am looking to get an iMAC and wanted to know how well does it run Fusion 360.

Anyone want to share their experience running Fusion 360 on a MAC?

Thank you in advance

I run Fusion360 on a macpro 2010 and 2012 as a design professional and professor of design so I would say that Fusion will run superb on your new iMac.

You are welcome. The new iMacs are great machines and fusion got very optimized and fast over the last years.

I agree with @cekuhnen’s assessment. I’ve been running Fuiosn 360 for the last 5 years first ona mid 2010 27” iMac and for the last 2 years on a MacBook Pro and it’s very smooth.

Another fun fact which many are not aware of is that a good number for the Fusion 360 team members run Fusion 360 on Macs.

My demo machine for live demos, classes, meetups  (Autodesk University, Fusion 360 Academy, etc.) is a 13" MBP machine.

I have it on my MacBook Air M1 and it flies, I had never had any issue and works pretty fast (I've got the 16GB RAM version)
