i need help on this one

Hey everyone im trying to do a flag, the flag is shaped like it is blowing in the wind. i dont even know where to start on this project. i have spent over a week trying to figure out how to do this. all have not worked. i am open for suggestions. this project is made out of wood.  i'll post a picture of what it looks like.

I used the same source for my dimensions too. They are unit-less. Depending on the size of flag you want, you can use whatever unit you want or even scale them up or down as you wish.

I set my parameters up with 1 -Yard as the hanging_width (which I called F_width), and then all others as [called for value]*F_width. It was just convenient since the hanging_width was shown as 1.

So I can just change that hanging_width, and my entire flag scales up or down.

As for the stars, I drawn two of them in my sketch. Then each one is extruded. Then each of those gets a rectangular pattern.

@sanket223.patilhe bud I got an issue. I'm trying to form my curves. I got the curve I want. I did it in a different file. how do I move that file into the file I'm making. or is there a different way I should be doing it. if you can please make me a video on how you got your curves. thanks

Open your flag file. Find your curve file in the Data Panel, right click on it, and choose Insert into Current Design.

But...why did you do the curve in a separate file? Did any of us show you making a curve in a separate file when we were showing you how to do this?

no the ones I saw was already made. then as they were designing the flag it was in the sketch menu on the left side of screen

Go watch a few introductory tutorial videos for the love of [insert deity here]. Several of us have spent real time to help you do stuff that you could have taught yourself in a minute.

Very nice design! I was wondering if it is possible to sweep and change the magnitude along the sweep such that the peaks and valleys are not constant when looking along the sweep direction?

Just edit Sweep Path, to what you want.

Yes makes total sense. Or possibly mix that in with a guide rail. Will have to experiement. Thanks
