I need help installing fusion 360

I get the following error just few seconds after trying to install it:

 

WinError 3] The system cannot find the path specified: '\\\\?\\%LOCALAPPDATA%\\'. Please attach the file "C:\Windows\TEMP\7zS1AD0.tmp\%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log" to any problem reports before closing this dialog.

Any adea on how i can solve that problem?

I need help installing fusion 360

Please post the log "autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log" for investigation.

As Marshal mentioned, can you send us the log file that's generated during the install?

 

It is located in c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\autodesk.and under the filename "autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log".

 

Also, can you also tell is a bit about your system?

  1. What version of Windows are you running? e.g. Version 7 SP1 64-bit.
  2. Do you have administrative rights on this system? 
  3. Do you have any special hardware? e.g. dual monitor, etc.
  4. Are you running behind a firewall or proxy server?

 

Additionally, can you check your video driver is current? We have seen in the past that older video card drivers have caused problems with the Fusion streamer install.
