The issue I am having is that I can select the face but can not do any operation on it. What I was hoping to do is to thicken it and raise the outer edge of the face so that it becomes all around higher than the inner edge of the face.

The face is the blue selected part and the red arrows indicate which part of the blue face I would want to raise. I think I need to convert the face into a body or to thicken it, but I cannot select the face in any of the Fusion 360 tools.

@axel1

If this were my work - I would use the imported geometry only as reference in recreating native geometry in Fusion 360 from scratch.

The first thing I notice is that the Origin is not in a logical location.

As I start to remodel - I start to wonder about the intended dimensions...

Is the left side in the image below supposed to be curved - or is it supposed to be straight as in the right side?

I see only straight lines an faceted planar triangular faces - no curves in the model?

@axel1

As I continue to remodel this from scratch I find some very thin areas in your original that I doubt are the true Design Intent?

Hi,thanks for the reply and you are correct. Since the model originates from Tinkercad and is exported to fusion 360 the transformation only creates straight lines and triangular faces. For the one curved section (blue in the picture) I combined the triangular faces into a single curved face.

I don’t think I have the expertise and skills to draw this from scratch in fusion 360 and am amazed at how you can show the cross sections like this.

the curve on the left side and and the flat part on the right that you accentuated in red is intended. The shape of that part (in blue) IMG_1190.jpegis the crucial element of the design as this is where it clips onto an existing part and needs an airtight connection.
