ok

i know this has been asked in various different ways in the past but my brain is not working on a friday,

in the attached file im trying to create 12 equal segments with a gap of .5m mill, if i can achieve this then i can extrude it and such to make my final design.

but for love or money i just cant get my head around it and would be greatful if some one can explain to the idiot behind this keyboard on how to do it.

Cheers Matt

No sadly not. I was looking at segmenting the inner circle with a little gap between each.

so I’m trying to replicate this but in sketch form currently.

does that help?

it would be 12 segments on the inner circle due to the outer circle been the far outside section.

Why is your Sketch1 not at the Origin?

Blue lines (or circles) should keep you awake at night.

Isn't that a simple Revolve, Shell, Extrude, Circular Pattern?

What is a origin? And it might be what you said. But as I said I have been tinkering around and have no clue of such things.

Right the little dot at the middle.

As I been playing/learning I just click the screen. Didn’t think that would make a difference. But I will keep it in mind for future. Thank you.

Using your previous screenshot I will do some more tinkering/playing/learning and see if I can figure it out.

I got extruding down that’s the easy bit for me but I will persevere.

I attached the file too.

Simply reverse and step through the Timeline to see what I did.
