HowTo: double curved rectangle

Hi,

This is my first post on this forums, and Iam using fusion360 for the hobby. I always try to search google first, most of the time I succed, but this time maybe i dont even know exactly how to ask about the problem. Iam sorry not native ensglish speaker, and not in bussiness of 3d modelling so maybe some phrases harder to find. Iam trying to design (more for teaching purposes) the small holder for led light for kids helmet (maybe easier to understand what Iam trying to achieve) and the holder have to be curved on both axis, but just know how to do it on one. I have drawn line on which direction it should be curved that i dont know howto achieve. I would be really grateful for some tips or help.

It is not the prettiest model I have ever done but is this what you have in mind by the second curve?  I did not know the radius of the second curve.

Thanks, for that quick support - amazing what i learned from one simple example, first didt know how to extrude under the angle (learned about sweep), and struggled many times before how to "sketch on object behind offset" ( learned that i can project items to offset plane). Thanks that will help my hobby 3d printing a lot 🙂 Thank you very much.

guessing you just want the bottom faced curved?  one approach would be to sweep a surface and do a replace face.

see attached

Nice, the same outcome, diffrent approach. For me its a bit harder to follow your design, but will sure try it, to learn something new, didnt use replace face yet. Thank you.

both are good outcomes.  but I wouldn't say they are the same.  the slot on the bottom of one is curved and flat on the other.  depends on what your needs are.

Yes you are absolutely right, i did not pay attention enough. This is the desired outcome, just one curved face. I combined the first tutorial that i made sweep on first face and extrude on second, and combine them 🙂 But absolutety will take a look at you design, as Iam looking to learn as many new things as possible. Easiest to learn on example you need. Thank you

the difference between the first one I up loaded and the one attached here is very slight, but I think this is a little more elegant than my first attempt (only changed sketch 3 and a setting in the sweep).
