How to Thicken a Ship Hull

 Hey Guys

i'm looking for some help thickening this surface of a ship hull. The hull was created in Rhino ans imported into fusion. I've trimmed the surface cleanly down the centreline and stitched all the sections together.

However I'm having trouble thickening the surface to 2.0mm or 2.5mm. Does anyone have any ideas how to complete this..

Cheers

Martin

Fusion isn't very good at dealing with dirty geometry.  The hull isn't to bad, but it does have some waviness in the surfaces (see curvature combs).  It's going to be really hard to track down the specific spot that's causing the error.  Would be nice if fusion would highlight the spot that causes it to fail.

The problem is less how it deals with it, the problem is much more the the ASM kernel creates this dirty geometry and cannot deal with it's own results.

See my response in this thread.
