How to split a part of a body off to add to another body.

I am wondering how to separate these bodies to add to the top body.

Your video does not make a lot of sense.  Attach your model and define clearly what you need to do.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Unfortunately, as @jhackney1972 said, nothing can be understood from the video. If you want to split the body into pieces, I recommend you assign a plane to the desired location and then cut it from there with the "split body" command.

How unfortunate. You can watch this clip. I can't record interface. It's classified. You can try to create a uniform box to wrap the destination body. What some people have confused is the order of events. In this example I am selecting the box piece. While you use the combine tool. The box piece is the target. The entire project piece is the Tool. The settings you are looking for is the Intersect. And, you want to check the keep tool checkbox. This is the only way to preserve you project piece. Then you can do this in reverse. The reason you have to do it in reverse. It's because you still have the entire piece in the place. While doing it in the reverse order the setting you are trying to select is the cut. And, you can also keep the tool body. This describes the target as the project piece. And the tool is ether a uniform box or the piece you created with step one. If it's not too complicated.
