Hey,
I designed this desk,

but I want to make the dimensions visible—something like this.

Is this available in Fusion? If not, how do you suggest doing it?

Dimensions, in Prospective View are not available in the 2D Drawing Environment.  I cannot give any Fusion based suggestions.

my recommendation would be:  In the Design workspace, create a few sketches, project geometry into those sketches, and add (driven) dimensions.  Not pretty, but it would make it possible to show those dimensions.

Hi,

While it is not really possible to do what you want in the Design model

environment, other than the possible suggestions already mentioned. It

may be worthwhile doing this in the actual Drawing environment that is

set up for this sort of thing.

The Drawing environment is for creating engineering drawings and allow

you to import a View of the model as shown , and then create the usual

Top, Front and Side views with all of the measurements and dimensions.

There are some good embedded tutorials in the Documentation showing

you the basics and then it is a matter of playing around until you get

something suitable for your needs.

Cheers

Hi,

I would check the graphics settings as the model should not be pixelated in any way.

It should look exactly like the model in the Design space since that is what it is based

upon. You can find graphics settings in the Preferences tab.

Cheers

Hi,

There are special applications for technical illustration, such as something from Corel Draw.

Hi,

Most commonly it simply involves resetting the graphics driver. If it is Auto then select OpenGL

Drewpan_0-1740561651422.png

This will sometimes fix it on its own or sometimes you will need to restart fusion. Sometimes

you need to restart and set it back to what it originally was. This will most often fix it. If it

persists then you might need more professional help. The Devs will monitor for this sort of thing

and contact you if they can help.

Cheers

@g-andresen

Can stay within the Autodesk ecosystem and do this in Autodesk Inventor Professional.
