Trying to connect two edges

I cannot figure out how to connect the two edges of this guitar. I want it to have one consistent and smooth face along the edge of the body. I've tried everything I can think of any everything I've found online, but I can't figure out how to make it work. Any help would be VERY appreciated.

You may be lucky and  no need to loft it - just ADD a chamfer to the INSIDE/bottom corner and it will build up the edge. 

Chamfer is not always a "destructive" function
