How to scale up to size

I now realize that scaling should have been done at the onset but since I did not do that I need to now scale my project up to a 47" radius. I have searched and found directions that displayed things that did not display for me, but I was able to scale up the main part of the project by hacking around but could not repeat it. Even though it sized up I let go of it and it was still too small (scales up in percentages instead of inches, etc.) and I can't repeat it.

Next question, I made cuts through the letters AEBO etc., that are visible as lines and not the color of the background as they should be.

Is there a list of terms with definitions for fusion 360 somewhere?

Would a tutorial for fusion 360 that starts out with only 2D be available from Fusion? If not, maybe think about making one? It would be a great starting point for 3D newbies, or would it?

Much, much appreciate any and all help.

Here is your model, it is attached.  Your Scale Factor is Original Radius (3.8)/47 inches Radius = 12.368421.  You want to use Uniform Scaling.   Letters are fixed also.

As far as the manual and tutorial, I will leave that up to you to find.  Here is a good place to start.

Fixed the text Extrude that turned the icon yellow.  (Reselect the profiles) Cut through as per previous question.

As this creates just one body in the file, Scale the Body.

If you step back before the Scale icon, you can edit the body or sketches and then go to end of timeline for updates to take effect.

Diameter before scaling was 7.6in, and 94in is the target size,

94 / 7.6 = 12.368421.  (I used diameter for one and not both, for the pic)

Select the body in the Dialogue, select the Origin of the file as the scaling point as a separate step in the Dialogue, set the scale factor as 12.368421.

Press Enter.

Can't thank you enough. So, was the problem with the letters due to the fact that the profile was already extruded but the mods I made had not be extruded?

Wow, I am determined to learn this but it is going to take some time for sure. Your help is greatly appreciated. The cut throughs were not extruded, was that the problem?

Not really, somehow Fusion kept the Extrude but lost the profiles, (Deleted - replaced? probably)

(Dialogue said Missing Profiles

So that causes Fusion to keep the Extrude icon, and as a warning turns the icon yellow.

Edit the Extrude, reselect profiles and it will update.

I do believe that was the situation, I just redid the extrusion to include your added sketches.  Thanks for accepting my solution.

You simply go to the file menu and click open for a F3D file.  You go to the Data Panel, the folder of your choice, and chose Upload at the top of the Data Panel if your file is an F3Z file.

Thank you for making the changes. However, I really can't learn unless I push the buttons myself. One thing is the middle of the aBoe letters have fallen out on the fixed file. My whole issue was about why the bridges I created to connect the center of those particular letters were not connecting. All help is very much appreciated.

That is one thing I figured out on my own somehow, after I typed and posted, thanks
