Hi,

when I am saving my files.  It is saving directly to cloud folders.  I am interested to save in my folder too.  Could any one help in this problem?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

You can export the fusion file directly to your computer by going to File->Export and then selecting the directory you wish to save to as well as changing the file type to Fusion archive (this is a fusion native file format). This will only work if there are no linked components (externally referenced) inside your model. If it is, you will have to follow the same workflow on your A360 site. A better walkthrough can be found in this guide here!

Thanks,

Hi ranjith.263,

You can even download the file directly from a360.autodesk.com in any of the provided format. Through this method you can download your file from anywhere.

I hope it solves your problem.

Regards

Mandeep

I used the process outlined in Message #2 three times today.  I would suggest you ready it closely again and try once again.  Please note the process will not work on assemblies containing Linked (external) files as outlined in the message.  I suggest you use a very simple model to practice the process.

why am I not able to save a file to my desktop in Fusion 360. When I go to save as, name the file, and choose location, the desktop is not an option.
