I am stuck and not sure how to make a certain style of beveled text. What I am looking for is to extrude a word and have the top half of the word be angled/beveled lower than the bottom half. The look I am going for is that if the word were to be mounted on the y-plane (front plane) and you stand/look down from above you can still read the word. I have tried to extrude the word and then "split body" and then revolve each half, but that does not seem to have a clean look and there is a slight crease/groove running through each letter from using the split body option. Also when revolving the upper half to have a lower angle than the bottom half the inside and outside edges of each letter do not cut when the rest of the letter half does and manually deleting them makes the letter look weird. I know that the upper half is sunken into the "offset extrusion" and that will just take some tweaking of the extrusion distance numbers. Maybe I am not using some of these features correctly. or need to use different features. I have attached what I have gotten down thus far. Any tips/advise is greatly appreciated.
