Early in the timeline, the yellow dome has no hole in it.

Make the tube you want to change, as an Extrude to Object, before you combine > cut the grey body out of the yellow body.

With such a colourful timeline, I have my doubts, it will work.

Might help.....

You do have a lot of issues in your timeline!  Basically what I did was to add a Surface Offset of the area around the hole BEFORE the hole was created in the timeline.  I then had to Offset Face of the threaded body to give enough length to be cut flush with the offset surface.  I then used the Split Body command to split the threaded body and then removed the excess material.  Your model is attached.

Hi, thank you for the file, that's what I want, but I still don't know how to do it.

I'm very new to fusion, so I don't understand your explanation, like how to offset face of the threaded body.

Thank you

Sabrina

I am traveling and my traveling computer does not have an internal microphone. I recorded a video of how I created your model but it has no sound.  I hope it is enough along with my previous description for you to understand the process.

Hi! Another approach without fixing the timeline or moving the timeline is to create a zero-distance surface from the yellow body. Use Untrim command to restore the base surface. Lastly use Replace Face command to cut the bolt. Please take a look at the attached f3d file.

Many thanks!
