How to keep dimensions when changing variables?

I want to sketch the following advent calendar in fusion. But I want to use a global variable for the dimension of the cubes (CubicleDimension) and the space between the cubes (CubicleSpacer)

I started sketching the tree with dimensions

But when I do now change a variable things get weird

I changed the dimension from 80 to 90mm here. What can I do to avoid this behavior? Everything should stay in place when I change variables

It seems to do what you want, define what your consider WEIRD?  You model sketch is not constrained so that may have something to do with what you call weird.

Thank you.

These changes were weird to me. But I just realized that I just had to add another dimension between the two floors..
