I have a design that is 3 dodecahedron dice in a box. Each die, and the box, is a component.
I want to start a new design, using the same die. So I would like to insert just ONE of the components (read: a single die) into a new design and start working on that one. These should all be the same size dice, so if I change the parent, I want those changes to precipitate through to this new design.
Is it possible? I keep finding links and tutorials on how to insert a whole part (all of its components and sketches, etc) into a new design, but that's not what I'm trying to do here. In hindsight, I'd redesign this as a single parent die, and insert that into a new part, make new components, then my box, etc, etc... but... you know, time and all that.
