How to: Create Loft between 2 bodies

Hi everyone and thank you for your help.

How do I create a loft between these two bodies as below? I'm getting errors. But when these two bodies are not extruded without offsets, it works perfectly. I need to connect two bodies that are extruded with one another.

Hi,

In solid mode, it is not possible to loft a hollow body.
Here you must first loft the solid body and remove the inner areas with a 2nd loft.

Thank you very much.

I have just tried to replicate your video ... without success.

I designed the same as you ... or it looks the same. You have an extruded rectangle and a extruded circle. You click on the top face of the rectangle and the bottom face of the circle and loft them successfully.

Why can I not do the same? Maybe we used different steps to design the extruded bodies?

helping out @g-andresen , in case he is offline at the moment.  The missing piece of information here is that there are sketches placed on the bottom of the cylinder, and the top of the block.  This gives you a sketch profile to loft for the cut phase:

Hi,

@jeff_strater  is right.

I created the outer loft with the  rings (sketch profiles) and the inner cut with the inner profiles.
