How to combine self-intersected body?

Let's say there is single body, and some parts of it intersects each other (actually, the body was converted from mesh gotten outside, but it does not matter because I was able to create such body even in Fusion 360).

Now I want to merge the body to itself. But Combine operation requires at least 2 different bodies to do its job, whereas I have only one.

If I split the body to separate parts in a way that overlapped parts become related into different bodies, then I can combine them back so overlapped parts will be also combined. But the problem here, the real model is too complex and it self-intersects in many tiny regions, so it's simply not possible to place planes for splitting in exact positions.

Unfortunately, Boundary Fill can't help here, because I already have self-intersected solid. I followed the link you provided and in the end of each example they applied the same technique as me - splitting the body to several non-intersected and then combining them. But in my case it's hard to split a model to isolate all intersected regions.
