How to change dimensions equally in both sides

Hi!

I am new to Fusion 360. What I've realized after almost pressing "print" on my 3d printer is that I could change the vertical dimensions and give it another 6mm, so I could fit different external HDD which is a little bit larger. However when I do that the honeycomb pattern is not symmetrical to the whole design and it just looks terrible.

What I want to do is to change that 129mm to 135mm, but it should go 3mm to each side, not 6mm to one side.

I was fiddling around with constraints but no matter what I used it just gives me various errors. Never used constraints before. I could really use some of your help guys.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

1. create patterns from features, not with sketches.

2. create 1 element in a sketch and extrude/cut.

3. create pattern from "feature"

Take a look at the screencast

Thanks! I will have to do almost everything from a scratch, but that's a good solution. Plus I have learned how to properly make these hexagonal grills.

NO

Follow the screencast and take a look at your timeline.

Maybe suppress features you don't need.
