How to approach this bend in a body?

I'm recreating a model of a telescopic hinge. There is an existing CAD model of the hinge but it's a single body.

I want to recreate it into 2 separate bodies: the arm and the mantle. I've used a 2D dwg of the topview to succesfully recreate the mantle of the hinge. But I'm stuck on the arm because it has this bend I don't know how to recreate.

I've attached my project file.  Any help is appreciated.

This is the bend bend which I don't know how to approach

Can you Attach this original model that you are attempting to reproduce as multiple bodies?

Hello, I've attached the converted file below. I've downloaded it from the manufacturer's website here

https://hettich-embedded.partcommunity.com/3d-cad-models/sso/rastomat-5-rastomat-5-hettich?info=hett...

there are many formats you can select there, but fusion 360 is not one of them. So I selected 3DS max.

Hi @afsharr ,
Did you try move/copy command in this regard? I think it will make some sense.
If you have any query feel free to ask.
Thank you.

I have a query, "Can you post a Screencast Recording of your suggested technique?"

hi, thanks for the help, I'd love to see a screencast of how you built up the latch because right now i see the before and after, but I don't understand yet how you actually did the extrude.
