Fixing an imported model

Hi,

This is driving me nuts so hopefully someone can help!  I want to model pressure on a section of spine so have an imported model I found online created from an MRI scan by someone else.  I want to put a section together then upload to SimScale for FEA analysis.

However when uploaded to SimScale as step, it says there are intersecting surfaces which is, I guess, not unexpected.

My question is....how do I fix this in Fusion 360?  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I attached the original solidworks file.

The Inspect menu has a Validate function, which can help repair geometry.

If that helps to repair this particular geometry for use in external FEA software is another question.

Hi,
If you want to repair some geometry go to the validate option belongs to the inspect toolbar.
Thank you.

I answered that question the same way just in the post before yours. Perhaps, before responding to every thread under the sun, make sure you read previous posts!
