I just noticed an interesting thing: a fully defined and otherwise OK CAM operation "does not compute" if the pattern folder it is part of is not properly defined (say after the pattern was pasted into a new document).
For I long time I thought that it would only make sense that operations inside a folder/pattern to be aware of their parent and accept overrides from it.
For example, wouldn't it be nice if all operations in a folder would default to the same tool orientation, set at folder level?
Or, if all drill operations from a pattern folder would default their Containment Boundary to pattern's source component?
