How to align a spring?

I created a spring and I need to align it to an axle. I know that I need to create a joint origin, using the seach option doesn't get me to the answer. In the video's I've found I see people attach a pane on a flat surface of the spring.

I have a round spring, so no flat surface to attach a plane.

Who knows how to fix this?

The Forum users do not want to have to create your model over again to show the process so please attach your assembly, which includes the spring.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

put a sketch in your spring component and put your joint on that.  or just use the origin of the component for the joint anchor if you modeled it symmetrically so it's in the center of the spring (which would be a good way to model it any way)
