How to add clearance between bodies in a Combine (Boolean) cut ?

Hello,

I would like to quickly combine 2 bodies in one cut to resin print for instance a small lock system, but I do not find a tool to add some clearance between the 2 bodies to let the system works in real life.

Here is an example of what kind of simple plastic lock system I would like to be able to do :

Of course I know I can add clearance between these two bodies for instance by doing an offset within the sketch environment before extrusions, or even by using some press/pull on the solid bodies for every faces needed after the cut, but I wonder if there is a simple tool or an option to set allowing this on a more effective way (say : the clearance between the two new created shapes added while we do the combine-cut in one step for instance) ?

Thank you for your time and attention,
Cordially,
Guy

Not as a single tool, you have mentioned the normal methods.

Sketch offsets and press pull after the fact.

@davebYYPCU : thanks a lot for helping me clarifying my thoughts !

BTW is it a good idea what I asked, ie: can we imagine a tool doing this automatically as an option while using Combine Boolean tool ? I guess I will propose it as IdeaStation hoping this will take attention from some F360 devs...

Guy

@TheCADWhisperer : thanks for this information but alas trying to submit I get only this :

In the mean time I already had submitted from Fusion 360 link yet on "IdeaStation" :

But since now I'm a commercial paid subscriber for Fusion 360 I wonder why I cannot access to this new FeedBack Hub ?
