How to access Electronics Cooling simulation?

I want to use the electronics cooling simulation feature, but I can't find it under my simulation workspace. It is not listed under preview features under preferences either.

I read somewhere that it was made public last year, but I can't find any info on how to access it besides enabling preview.

Do you need a specific Fusion 360 version to access this feature?

Screenshots of my simulation workspace and Fusion 360 version below.

Thanks.

Hi @mads.aasvik thanks for posting.

Make sure to check "Electronic Cooling" section in your Preferences in Fusion.

Thank you for the reply.

As I wrote in my original post, I am not able to enable the electronics cooling feature under preview features since it's not listed. No simulation features are listed.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

@mads.aasvik thanks for an update.

The possible reason is that you are using Product Design & Manufacturing Collection license, which is, in short, a collection of some of the programs we offer. As of January this year, EAGLE, which contains Electronic Cooling module, is no longer part of this collection (see this article for details).

Thanks again, Rafal.

Yes, that is probably the reason, as I do have the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection. A shame it was removed since it looked like something that could've been very useful.

I want to add how we solved this issue in case anyone else is have the same problem.

The issue was not that we had the wrong type of Fusion 360 license (as Rafal suggested), but rather restrictions in our network/firewall. We bought a separate Fusion 360 license, but the problem persisted.

After whitelisting the required ports/domains specified here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fusio... we got access to Electronics Cooling Simulation, even with our "old" Fusion 360 license included in the Product Design and Manufacturing Collection.
