How do I sweep an object to another object of a different size?

My friend wants me to design him a knife replica from one of his favourite video games, I completed it but made some slight modifications to make it look a bit better. One of these modifications include making the centre of the blade curve in to form a thinner end though, I don't know how to make the sharp area blend into the centre. I've attatched images showing the actual knife's curve and the block block i'm using to attempt this blend. The block has 2 triangles (triangles being the best blending shape) on 2 opposite surfaces though both are different dimensions so press-pulling nor sweeping has worked. The ends have both the right triangles so if pulling one triangle and fitting it into the other was an options, this issue would be resolved.Screenshot (58).pngScreenshot (58).png

Here is how I would do it. Start with the curved profile on the top of the blade and loft down to the bottom surface.

Hi thanks for posting.

First, "Offset surface" the 4 inside faces of the groove you've made with a distance of 0.

Then like the picture below Loft surface the 4 edges.

Next, Stitch all the surfaces.

After that, COMBINE with the main body
