3D Modeling Challenge

Hello. I am scratch building a Scale Model of an airplane. Due to the complex curves and angles of the nose section, I'm trying model it in Fusion 360 so I can 3D print it. However, the more I try to get it make it look like the real plane, the more challenging it's becoming. I'm hoping someone in this forum can assist or guide me with this challenge.

I've attached the three perspective drawings (maximum allowed upload files on this forum). For actual photos of it, Google L188 and go to images.

Many thanks if anyone can help!

I would use far far fewer sketches and worlplanes (perhaps no user created workplanes).

My sketches would be fully defined.

There would not by any unresolved issues highlighted in the timeline.

I think that perhaps you have tried to jump off a ship in the middle of the Pacific and then decided (after jumping) that it might be a good idea to learn to swim.

Can you post examples of some of your earlier projects (the learning to swim stuff) of increasing complexity leading up to this project?

You are correct sir. Although I have created many 3D objects in Fusion 360, I am still learning and I have a lot to learn. I have exceeded my abilities with this one, which is why I was reaching out for some help.

I sincerely thank you very much for not only looking at it but taking the time to reply.

Many thanks!

I'd love to see some of these models 😉

The approach you are taking is completely incorrect, whether you are going to model this with a solid modeling approach, surfaces or the form(T-Spline) tools.

Given that you are using FUiosn 360 my suggestion is that you use spline-based surfaces created with lofts.

Use as few rails and profiles as you can.

Us as few spline control points as you can.

Less is more when working with surfaces.

here's a quick and dirty approach.  might be good enough for 3d printing.  step though the time line and see if you can work it out.  lofting like this where the profiles share a common point doesn't create the greatest surface quality, but will probably be good enough for your purposes.
