How do I simulate A356 cast aluminum?

I do not see any references to cast aluminum in physical materials list. How do I simulate this material?

That's for appearances only, that's not a physical material and has nothing to do with simulations.

What you need to do is create a custom material. Give me a few min and I will show you how.

Go to http://www.matweb.com/ and search for your A356 Cast Aluminum and write down the specs you need. Then create the material like this and open its properties and set all the properties and save the material out. Then you should be able to sim it.
