How do I resize an object without everything just messing up?

I'm working on a project but the problem is every time i try to use the sketch dimension tool it always messes up the shape or just adds a straight line ruining the object can someone help me please here's the dimensions I'm trying to do: https://www.dimensions.com/element/xbox-one-controller Screenshot 2025-03-03 081714.png

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Having said that, this is not a beginner project - you should master sketching before tackling a project like this.

Hi! I guess the sketch consists of splines converted from an image. These curves may not be parametrically driven in the original design. Or the curves are silhouettes of a rounded shape. To resize such shape, you could create a planar Patch surface of the profile. The use Scale command to resize the Patch surface uniformly or non-uniformly.
