I'm a noobie and cannot figure out how to make this kind of joint. How would I go about this?
How do I make this type of joint?
don't really have a file. the photo shows two "rails" on the right pic which make a "raised slot". The left pic shows a separate piece which will fit into the "raised slot" when the box is manually assembled(outside of fusion 360).
It should look like this. I can make it by creating 6 different extrusions, but was hoping there was an easier way

@Anonymous - I think you confused us with the term "joint". In Fusion, Joint is a way to connect two components. If you are talking about modeling this geometry, here is another way to do it, using an extrude and a sweep. Plenty of other ways to get there, though. Your way is probably fine.

not quite sure what the question is, but several of the solutions have attached models - open them and take a look at the features. In my case, for the "grooves" part, I did this with one sweep, with two profiles:
