How do I make a ramped square hole in a block? extruded

Hi There!

I'm trying to extrude a square into a block of material, but I want the square to NOT have a flat bottom.

I'd like the square to be ramped from on edge down towards the opposite side of the square.

So one side of the square would be flush with the materials surface. The opposite side of the square would be recessed down 24mm, creating a ramp. I tried to extrude the square, down by .2 mm then I tried the chamfer tool to make the ramp, but it didn't work.

please see the attached file with to blocks. One block with the side of the square I want and a blank block.

Thanks for the help

Glen

I recommend that you start by dimensioning your first sketch.

Yes thanks that is exactly how I would like it to look!

Now all I have to do is figure out how you extruded the second extrution, to the lines in the second example!

Hmmmm…. let me try to figure it out from here, if I cant figure out how you did it ill be back for more clues LOL.

Thanks

I just figured another way to do it.

I selected an inside side wall f the cut out box and drew the angled down line on it, then extruded that section across.

This is fun!!!
