How do I join these edges?

nevermind... figured it out... how do I delete a post? 🙂

I know it's probably something simple but I'm pretty new to 360 & haven't been able to get this to work...

Basically, trying to model something like an ice cube tray... I want to join the "ice cubes" to the "flat tray" surfaces where the red lines are below. I will be rounding out edges and adding thickness to it later...

Tour data is in the could on Amazon AWS servers.

I am assuming you have not yet taken advantage of the educational materials here ?

You can save your designs locally by selecting File->Export and save the .f3d file to a  local drive.

Then you can attach it to a post.

Ah, thanks. Knew it was in the cloud, but didn't think it would be an export (rather, Save As) for local storage...

I've watched a few demos, but not many. I will seek them out... thanks for the link.

Been using a lot of 3d stuff over the years (none parametric like this is), so typically if something isn't working as expected I search. F360 admittedly works a bit differently than others 🙂

Hey Peter - I checked it out & noticed two things -

1) The base had been extruded. My intent is to add thickness after all the main stuff is modeled (fillets, etc.)

2) I can't figure out how you deleted the bottom parts here in red as it doesn't show up in the history:

Your Sketch1 is not dimensioned?

I don’t recall having ever seen anything in the real world that did not have thickness.

Can you reference a photo of something similar to your Design Intent?

Is this supposed to be one body or six bodies?

I think you're making this more complicated than it needs to be.

Rhino, no thickness:

I'd like to connect the top six extrusions to the large rectangle along the edges in red, and end up with a one-piece "ice cube tray" with openings where the water would be poured. (If it wasn't upside-down, obviously...)

Is that possible? Being new to 360, if it is, I don't know what the tool / function is called to join them, and haven't found it. I assume it's also possible I'm doing it in the wrong order...

The reason I don't want to add thickness so early is because what I'm modeling is far more complex (sheet metal housings), with LOTS more geometry, and I want to do the modeling as much as I possibly can before introducing all the extra geometry.
