How do I create a profile defined by a mathematical equation?

I would like to 3D-print some math formulas and present them in school math class. For example: what a parable or a linear equation looks like that you can touch and play with. (e.g.: y=x^2 OR y=abs(abs((2*x -3)+2)-1)) etc.)
How can I create a profile (or any objects) in Fusion that is defined by a math function? I need a quick and simple solution, because I would like to experiment with different formulas and how they look like, i.e. I would often change the formula. Thanks in advance.
(The solutions I found so far do not work: e.g. the "Equation Driven Curve" Add-In would be fine for this purpose, but seems to be unavailable.)
