How can I make a hinge?

I am looking for someone who might be able to help me concerning making a hinge close.  The snip of a base, with hinge and lid, I would like to make it appear to open and close.  I have tried to use the "joint" features, but I don't get the result I am looking for.  Thanks for any help you may offer.

I assume you'll be 3D printing the reduced cross-section element (the "Hinge") in TPU or similar and you need to simply illustrate this? Still images or video?

Thanks for responding - Waringup1953

Still images would work, however, I think making it animated via video
would be cooler.

Gunther,

Any idea why the attachment appears to be loaded and sent, yet you do not
receive it? Is there something I am doing wrong? I wouldn't say I'm tech
savy so I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks for your willingness to help,

Wade

Could be you are trying to attach your model using an email reply.  You MUST return to your Forum post and use the Attachment section of a reply post.

My post is not the solution to your question, it is simply telling you the proper method of attaching your model to a Forum post.  I removed it as a marked solution.  When you get a response that actually solves your issue, then "Accept Solution" on it.

Thanks for the illustration.  Can you explain to me how you were able to accomplish the movement of the hinge?  Thanks
