How Can I Debug a Failed Simulation?

Hello,
I have an explicit (event) simulation with a material deletion that failed. (simulation without material deletion runs fine). The only information I can get is the study exclamation mark, Solve Details window shows nothing significant (only that the job scheduling was successful).
Is there a way to get to the output files to try to debug what's wrong?

Best regards,
Martin Madaj.

Hi Martin,

If the output text files are returned from the failed analysis, then you should be able to access them from "Results > Inspect > Solver Data". On the dialog, change it from viewing the Solver Data to viewing the Solver Output.

If the output text files are not returned, then you would need to provide an archive of the model (.f3d) for someone in Technical Support to look at the model.

If not provided, indicate the version of Inventor Nastran you are using.
If the issue is related to a model, attach the model! See What files to provide when the model is needed.

Hi John,
it looks like it has been some strange occasional error. I gave it another try and received the results successfully.
Thank you,
Martin.
