Horizontal and Vertical contraints separation

So I have a problem with fusion, some of you find it easier to have Horizontal and Vertical in one constraint in tool box, but I learned from my own experience that it is better to have these to contraints separate. So is there any way of doing that or in fusion it is impossible?

Sorry for my english if it bad, not my first language.

Hi,

what i mean is this.

If you like it, vote for it.

But the last comment  in this thread gives little hope of implementation.

interesting history on that one, if anyone is interested.  Originally they were separate constraints.  But, because it is not alway obvious in Fusion which is horizontal and which is vertical (hint:  The X axis is red, the Y axis is green), UX decided that it would be simpler to just have one constraint that does both, and snaps to whichever is closer.  I do sometimes get annoyed by this, and find myself having to drag a line to get the right thing to happen.  But, to be absolutely honest, I would not hold my breath on this one.  The UX guys still prefer one command over two (or 3 if we want to make everybody happy:  the existing + horizontal + vertical)...

Most of the time the single button approach is totally fine for me. In the rare cases it doesn't work I just undo the constrain, move the e.g. line and reapply the constrain. I don't have the need for two buttons. It's just a matter of time and it works better and better.

I'm gonna put this straight, I'm solidworks/inventor user and I'm very much used to it. I just don't like paying thousand of dollars every year to use it and have updates. And because my revenue is under 100000 dollars so I can use Fusion for free. And trust me by separating horizontal and vertical constraint tool is much better.

And trust me, it's just working very fine for me. You shouldn't apply your preferences to me just because you're used to that two icon thing. I'm using those constrains way to often and it works very well for me.

What you should do, is to put this suggestion to the prove and post this suggestion in the idea station and we'll see how many votes it will get.

Hi,

this kind of suggestions  have been around for several years, as you can see above in the linked thread of the

Idea-Station.

The positive votings, however, are manageable.

I am an Inventor and SolidWorks user.  I only dabble with Fusion.

l like the single H/V constant tool in Fusion.
