history timeline not showing

Hi I am sure I am missing something obvious but the timeline isn't showing up in Mac ultimate.  I do have redo/undo arrows with a pull down history but no timeline on the bottom.   If I make a new drawing the timeline shows up now so I guess no timeline if your editing an imported STL ?  It's better to paste said STL into a new drawing after importing to get the timeline??

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

helped Me many Fusion 360 users with their designs and assemblies including a few with 1000 components and all to often it is clear the the timeline can quickly turn from a blessing into a curse and unfortunately that clearly manifests itself in performance problems.                       kingroot apk

However, if your design such things in direct modeling mode, such limitations do not exist

I am having this trouble too.

The timeline is not showing.

In preferences, I have that I want history recorded.

I have a quite simple design.  It used to have a timeline, but it has gone.

If I start a new design, it too has no timeline.  This is a design, not a model or anything like that.

To reiterate. The timeline has gone.  I cannot find any reason for it to have gone and I cannot get it back.  Furthermore, a new design does not have a timeline either.  I tried a new design that was a sketch of a rectangle - nothing.

<sigh> In my case it was covered by the stupid Windows "Task Bar". I right clicked, taskbar settings, and "Automatically hide the task bar in desktop mode." It covers it so perfectly and there's nothing else under there.

I hate windows.

I recently had a problem with the timeline not showing. If the other solutions do not fix your issue, I found that entering full screen mode solved it (see below for reference).

It must be a bug in the programme (I even unistalled the program but that didn't solve the issue at the time).

@Jeremy.riva I've recently had an intermittent problem where Fusion's window is set to tall so the timeline's off the bottom of the screen. Cycling Restore\Maximise should fix this but doesn't! What I had to do was click Restore then drag the widow to a smaller size then hit maximise and then the window was fitted to the desktop. Don't know why cycling Restore\Maximise failed but restarting Fusion didn't help and I don't think a reinstall would help either as the setting for window size is probably saved to one of the files that are not removed with some of your other settings that persist through a reinstall.

Here's my screen with Fusion's window too tall.
