Hidden edges are displayed as full lines in drawing mode

Hello,

Whenever I try to make a drawing from my 3D models, the hidden edges are shown as full lines (i.e, not dotted) although I checked the "Visible and Hidden Edges" option in the Drawing view window. Does anyone knows a solution to this problem?

I attached a screenshot to illustrate.

Cheers,

Gilad

Hi,

I believe your scale of the view is less than 1. The hidden line is shown like a thin solid line as it's scaled to a small size.

Currently Fusion 360 doesn't support line type scale customization. A workaround I can think of is to provide a detail view for those areas.20170103-1.jpg

Indeed, I lose the hidden lines on anything smaller than 1:4. TBH, that makes the drawing mode rather useless for me.

Another workaround might be using a large sheet size and then resizing it down to your desired size (although, the bottom table will be smaller)

I am having the same frustration.  For a program that's well suited for machined parts (as opposed to architectural scale), it's crazy that the length of hidden line dashes do not scale with the model.  How about a fix?

Control over things such as linetype, line weight and linetype scale are all things on our long-term roadmap, but we likely won't be able to get to them for some time. To see what's being worked on in the near-term, you can explore this mural.

Thanks,
