Hexagon refuses to update

Hi guys, N00b here 🙂

I drew a spline on the XY Plane:

1.png

The I constructed I offset plane, found an intersection with the spline (sketch/project&include/intersect) and drew a hexagon with a coincident constraint for one edge and the intersection:

2.png

I expected the hexagon to resize when I move the spline and therefore its intersection. It doesn't:

Why? Thanks for helping out!

Cheers Tom

Resize the hexagon, the spline should follow,

Fusion updates from beginning to end, hexagon is fully constrained, so won’t move by a manipulation of the subsequent Spline.

What came first (in problem description)?

Thank you guys for your help! My screenshots don't show, that this hexagon at the end of the spline is only one of many. Interestingly, only the topmost hexagon was troublesome (the lowest never changed, as it is the origin of the spline itself); all the middle ones behaved as expected. The middle ones actually required the intersect option, in order the get a point to target for the hexagon. I used this intersection option in the topmost hexagon as well. Initially everything seems to work.

now lets move the top point:

Works like a charm. Now lets move it so far in, that the curvature of the spline leads to two intersection point with the plane:

Now it's broken:

This can be solved by not attaching the geometry to an intersection point, but the end of the spline itself. However, I believe a warning would be in order instead of quit working all together. Or am I missing something? See the file attached.
