Hex dome help

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with either a solution or with the model itself.

I am having a hard time building this model in particular in Fusion 360. I have made a dome composed of triangles, but with hexagons and poligons is beyond me.

I also need all the sides of the hexagons and poligons to be equal.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

I attached a photo of the dome/sphere I am referring to.

Trust me I did, but i can't find anything about a hex dome, only shapes with few sides or domes made of triangles

Yeah, I actually contacted him about this matter.

Here's a screen of the conversation

Hello,

Thank you but I already did the truncated icosahedron. What I need is a construction with more hexagons and poligons like the image I posted in my original post.

I guess then you need to do some more study on the math, geometry, and structure of such objects unless you just want to mindlessly follow along with tutorials without gaining an understanding of what you are actually doing.

I did a good bit of research and experimentation before I create that tutorial. Any and all of that can be found on the internet and Wikipedia was very helpful.
