It LOOKS like, for example, the ears were extrusions back through the body, and that they were left as separate bodies and so weren't included when you lofted the rest of it.

You might want to attach an exported .f3d file to your next forum post, so that we can take a look for better analysis.

Attached the piggybank file as suggested.  as can see I have been trying to get the inner faces, then fill them in with patch but how to make this into solid so that I can combine with the main body and cut it out. Thanks.

Oh my. Your file is a mess.

I am attaching my file to the bottom of this post. Open it, scroll through the time line one item at a time. Edit items as necessary to see exactly what I did. Don't shell the base form at the beginning. Leave it as a solid, and add additional the snout, ears and tail, either joining them or combining them after the fact. Don't do the holes. Split Face ONE of the holes (don't make a hole, just Split Face with the desired shape) and then offset that face into the surface your desired shell thickness. Then shell using that recessed face. THEN make the rest of the holes. THEN add your fillets. No patching anything. Nice, neat time line without a bunch of extra, useless stuff. ONE move on the ear, not six. No extra, wasted sketches. Organized and logical.

Wow, great. thanks.  So it seems you are saying I cannot shell out a body with holes in it, (which kind of makes sense), which is what I was trying to do before I shelled out earlier.

As for the ears I was trying to get more curves to them, by extruding into a curve, but was stuck and fed up and made this easier version.

Your guidance is greatly appreciated.  Now I need to find a way to add a hole and cap for the money to come out!

Is there any reason why I cannot fillet the tail?

Once it is Shelled, you can poke whatever holes you want through it with Extrudes or whatever. If you make a cap/plug for the hole, it should be a separate Component.

The tail won't fillet beyond the size that results in the fillet touching itself. Here you can see that I've adjusted the Sketch for the tail and made the indicated bit a little bigger/rounder.

You can do whatever you want to do with the ears.
