Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for letting us know! I tried to access the URL from your screen on mine, and got the same error. Just curious, what link exactly did you click on that brought you to that page?

Hi James

I opened help in Fusion 360, typed a topic I wanted help for and hit enter.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm just trying to reproduce this error step by step. Do you think you could tell me exactly what you searched for? Also, does this happen every time you go to use the search bar? I haven't been able to reproduce this error from using the search bar myself, so it may be possible it is a network error that you may be experiencing, but I will look into this further to find out.

Thanks,

Hi James

attached a screencast of trying to search for a toppic and access help in general. I do nt think that it is a network error because I can access everything else.

Hi @Anonymous,

Just wanted to let you know that we are still researching why the search doesn't work. We are unable to reproduce this issue on our end, but we found out why it comes up as a blank page at least. When the search redirects, it pulls up an incorrect URL. To be honest, I haven't seen this before so troubleshooting why this is occurring is difficult. In the meantime if you need to search anything you can use the following website (which is what it is supposed to redirect to):

http://fusion360.autodesk.com/learning/learning.html

I am sorry for this inconvience and I will let you know as soon as I have another update for you.

Thanks,

Hi James

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I send you a Fiddler debug  report. This shows all the network action that is going on when I execute a search from Fusion 360.

http://www.telerik.com/fiddler

On my laptop the search opens up a valid page. But I am not sure if it is working right since the keyword does not get processed.

Hi @Anonymous,

I will pass this information along. Do you not experience the invalid page error anymore then? On a separate note, I can reproduce the same error with the keyword not getting processed. I will pass this along as well. Thank you for all your updates and patience as we figure this out.

Hi @Anonymous,

The issue with what your laptop has been having has been resolved. Do you mind trying it out for me and letting me know if it works on your end as well? Also, if it is just your desktop that seems to exhibiting this behavior it most likely has to do with some Fusion setting or how Fusion was installed on that particular device. You may need to perform a clean uninstall/reinstall as well check all of your network settings for that device.

Hopefully this issue is resolved on your end, and thanks again for letting us know! If it works go ahead and mark this answer as a solution. That way, others experiencing this problem can benefit from this thread as well. If you have any more questions, please let me know and I would be more than happy to help!

Thanks,

Hi James

This issue is solved on my Laptop now. Great Smiley Happy

On my desktop the error is still showing.

What I did:

- clean uninstall exactly as described here.

 http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-...

I did not delete directories in Autodesk folder - instead I deleted always the whole Autodesk folder since Fusion 360 was the only installed Autodesk product.

- reinstall from the website.

I am running Windows 10 on both machines.

Laptop. Running Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 8.1

Desktop: Clean install of Windows 10 on new SSD.

I don't know if I am the only one experiencing this - or if I am just the first one with a clean install of Windows 10.

Regards

Hi @Anonymous,

For your desktop, have you tried deleting your browswer cache? The steps for doing so in Chrome (assuming you are using Chrome from the picture you posted) can be found in the link below.

Please let me know if this worked.

Hi James

I just tried your solution with no luck.

Then I also changed the browser to Microsoft Edge. No luck either..

Hi @Anonymous,

Also, what language is your computer set to? As well as what language is Fusion set to? It seems that you are missing /ENU/ from the URL which is why you are getting the blank page error. I believe that this is due to a language setting, but I really can't confirm as we are having trouble on our end replicating this error.

Thanks,
