Having trouble making shell

I'm having trouble creating a shell in Fusion. I understand how the Shell feature works in 3D modeling, and I honestly can't see anything wrong with my solid body.

I've already tried splitting it into several smaller bodies to identify the problematic area, but the Shell feature doesn't work on any of the resulting pieces either.

I've also tried creating a surface and thickening it, converting the model to a mesh and creating a shell from that, and using create form followed by thicken (which worked to some extent, but the thickness was very uneven). I even tried the same model in Autodesk Inventor, but with no success.

At this point, I've run out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you upload the file with timeline?

The geometry has pretty horrible curvature, which is the root of the problem. If this was modeled in Fusion, please share the .f3d file with the timeline, so we can see how it was modeled and perhaps recommend a better workflow.

Shelling isn't the first problem in this model.

I would start by fully constraining and dimensioning sketches. All of them!

There is no need to use a 3D sketch here.

The end result explains roughly what you want to achieve, but almost all of the modeling techniques are incorrect

@goochgangOGmember

It seems like I have seen this design before.

Are you attempting to follow a Tutorial?

If yes. what is the link?

I did this design by my own, with no tutorial

I understand, thank you for the criticizm. I am not fully happy with the resoult i archived. First of all shape of the corner is not round as i wish. That's why i made this 3d sketch and this is the best resoult i can get. I want to learn how to properly design lofts (by the way maybe loft is not best way to design this kind of shape?). If there is no need to use a 3D sketch, how i can make rails in another way? Making few construction planes and 2d sketches?

I am very grateful for any tip that helps me improve my skills.

@goochgangOGmember

Attached is an example that we can work from.

How did you determine the position of the 4 hole mounting flange?

(My example is not intended to match yours just yet.)

Hi! Here is a quick attempt to recreate the model based on the imported geometry.
