Handle Creation

Handle.JPGI have attached a picture of the handle that I am trying to create in Fusion. It is a solid metal bar that I need to bend at 90 degrees about 6" apart. I then need to placed a worm gear with roll pins to secure the gear. I have the gear and the roll pins done, but do not know how to create the handle so that I can rotate or bend it 90 degrees to create the form of the handle. I want to include a revolution joint so as I turn the handle, the worm gear will drive the bigger gear (not shown).  I need suggestions on how to create the handle. I have attempted a sketch with an arch, but when I go to extrude it is not round. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Pipe tool would be my first choice. Simply draw the centerline of the handle, then use that as the path for the Pipe tool.

The expanded part of the handle for the hand grip can be done with the Revolve tool.

I creating a line that followed the curvature of the handle where the worm gear started and ending with the handle bushing. When I used the pipe command it was not able to follow the line that I drew indicating the layout that I wanted it to follow. What am I doing wrong? How do you get the pipe to "bend" 90 degrees to follow the pattern? Can you upload a small file or show screenshots of what you are trying to relay to me?

Thanks,

Daniel D.

If you can't get it to work, do as @TheCADWhisperer says and attach your file to the thread.
