Flange on a cone problem please help

Hi guys have a very simple problem here but cant seem to see how to get it to happen.

In the attached file I have a section of a cone which I can get a flat pattern for. I would like to add a flange from the profile in sketch 5 and join it to this cone so I can make four of these and bolt them together. I can create A flange from profile in sketch 5 but the availability to "join" to the cone section is not there.

Can anyone help me with this?

Many thanks

I extruded a short flat on the other end of the cone, then created a flange at 90 degrees on that.  The flange needed to be created towards the outside, then flipped. The extrusion probably only needs to be as wide as the bend radius.

Nice one cheers for that! Any thoughts on if this would work with both
sides?

Yes, it works for the other side as well. Just extrude it slightly more than the bend radius (2mm).

Note: You'll need to adjust the swept angle of the cone in order for the sections to meet with no gap.  You may also need to adjust the angle of the flanges a few degrees.

Given enough time and effort - I am confident that I could get a solution in Fusion, but it is so trivially easy in Autodesk Inventor Professional.  Time is money....
