Hi

I like to merge some bodies in a group. With right click on Bodies the option for a group will not be shown. (appropriate a video tutorial it sould be possible).

How can i make a new group?

Thank you

Stefan

Hello @Anonymous

Welcome to Fusion 360. In order to combine bodies, you should use a Tool called "Combine", which you can find under the Modify menu.

You could also check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w4koxWDkFQ

If you need more help, please let me know.

Cheers / Ben

Hi Ben

My idea was to get a group (maybee a selection Group) to pattern ore mirror the different bodies at once, but still have the single bodies in Rhino after export.

Thank you

You could create a component, and drop all the bodies in there. This of a Component as a Box and not only for single part. I use it sometime as a Folde.

I think that would be the best solution for you.

Hi @Anonymous

You can use "Selection Sets" to instantly select however many objects you want, then you can do your mirror command to affect all selected.

Hope this helps.

May I ask, what are your planes for those bodies? Are you going to use them as separate parts for an assembly?
